Financial Literacy
The B.A.L.L.E.R.S. organization will teach the participants about finance. The organization is aiming at expanding youth transitioning into adulthood (YTIA) knowledge of banking practices, paychecks, and taxes. This knowledge will prepare them for future situations when dealing with finances.
They will learn the following:

How to open and manage a bank account

What to expect to see on a paycheck and stub

Tax issues associated with banking and employment such as W-4, W-2, IRA, stocks , etc.

Managing a budget
These issues are very important because it will help the participants to become more self-sufficient.
Since one element of the B.A.L.L.E.R.S. organization is focused around entrepreneurship. Brief discussions and information will be provided about investing, allocating funds for bills, and paying employees.
